Vértere Global Solutions, Inc., a Manila-based IT staffing firm, announced its expansion into the Cebu market as part of its strategy to tap into the region’s growing demand for skilled IT professionals.

The expansion includes Vértere and its direct placement arm, A7 Recruitment Corporation (ARC), offering a suite of services including IT consulting, staff augmentation, and managed services.

Jocelyn “Jo” Cariaga, President of Vértere, cited Cebu’s strategic position in the Visayas as a key factor in the decision, positioning the company to better serve and expand its client base across the Philippines.

“Expanding into Cebu allows us to capitalize on the local talent pool and meet the increasing demand from multinational companies establishing their presence in the region,” said Cariaga.

This move comes as Vértere marks 27 years in the IT industry, during which it has built a reputation for its consultative and relationship-based approach to recruitment and staffing.

ARC President Santos “Toots” Bunachita emphasized the importance of trust and long-term relationships in their recruitment process, which he believes is essential for matching the right candidates with the right opportunities.

As part of the expansion, Vértere and ARC are hosting a roadshow on April 17, 2024, at Seda Central Bloc in Cebu City.

The event aims to gather leaders from various industries to discuss new strategies in talent management, focusing on scarce IT skills, staffing solutions, and agility in hiring practices.

The roadshow will also provide networking opportunities, aiming to strengthen industry connections and foster collaborations within the local business community.

The initiative reflects Vértere’s commitment to supporting the economic growth and development of Cebu as a key IT hub in the Philippines, especially in an era increasingly dominated by digital and AI technologies. Registration for the roadshow remains open, with details accessible via a QR code provided by the company.
