The location of the first U.S. Polo Assn. store in the heart of Berlin is at the premier Alexa Mall at Alexanderplatz and marks the beginning of a strategic retail rollout across the country, which solidifies the multi-billion-dollar brand’s global presence in Germany. The new Berlin store is offering a curated selection of men’s, women’s, undergarments, and beachwear collections – a perfect mix of sports heritage and contemporary spirit.

    The Grand Opening of the Alexa Mall U.S. Polo Assn. store was an evening of celebration with a ribbon cutting and cocktail party, attended by VIPs, media, and fans of the brand, with special guests including J. Michael Prince, President and CEO of U.S. Polo Assn./USPA Global, Lorenzo Nencini, President of Incom and Raffaele Sarnacchiaro of MVS. Joining them was U.S. Polo Assn. Global Brand Ambassador and Italian Polo Champion Giordano Magini. U.S. Polo Assn. models showed off the iconic polo player style throughout the event and in the mall, while guests enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, custom gifts, and prizes set against live DJ beats, all from the iconic sport-inspired brand.

    Official Apparel and Team Sponsor Delivers a Commemorative Gift Collection Honoring the Global Sport Brand’s 135th Anniversary Celebration

    U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand of the United States Polo Association (USPA), in partnership with Brand Machine Group (BMG), its licensing partner in the United Kingdom, proudly served once again as the Official Apparel and Team Sponsor for the 2025 Outsourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup. The prestigious event took place on July 11 at the renowned Windsor Great Park at Flemish Farms’ Guards Polo Club.

    In its seventh consecutive year of sponsorship for the charitable event, U.S. Polo Assn. outfitted all participating polo players, umpires, and flaggers in custom-designed performance jerseys, with The Prince of Wales captaining the U.S. Polo Assn. Team. The annual event brought together elite polo players and distinguished guests for a day of sport and charitable giving.

    His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales competed in an exciting round-robin format match against Team Fortunis Bloodstock and Team Manta Marine Technologies – La Ilusión Polo Club. The high-profile charitable event featured other well-known polo players, including James Beim, Henry Porter, Jack Richardson, and Ivan Rubinich, to name a few. The match was filled with excellent gameplay from all participants, concluding with The Prince of Wales scoring the game-winning goal against Manta Marine Technologies. The Royal Charity Cup’s Most Valuable Player was Emma McCrae from Team Fortunis Bloodstock, who had a great neck-shot goal during the day, alongside the Best Polo Pony, Chechu, played by HRH and owned by King Power Polo.

    In addition to performance gear, U.S. Polo Assn. provided a limited-edition 135th Anniversary commemorative gift to all event attendees, celebrating the brand’s storied heritage dating back to 1890. The tailored gift set included a canvas tote bag, a 135th Anniversary cap, a pocket square, a lapel pin, the brand’s newest issue of Field X Fashion magazine, as well as co-branded event caps developed exclusively for this occasion.

    A Night to Remember: ‘Play for the Moment, Live for the Legacy’

    On the evening of June 18, more than 1,500 international guests gathered in the breathtaking Chiostro Grande of the historic Complesso di Santa Maria Novella for an invitation-only anniversary celebration that will long be remembered. Hosted by acclaimed Italian actor Roberto Ciufoli, the event was a sensory journey through the sport and brand’s authentic 135-year story.

    Italian music star Clara soon captivated the crowd with a stunning live vocal performance, delivering a set filled with beauty, style, and emotion. Her stage presence matched the elegance of the evening and set the tone for the grand finale. When global DJ legend Benny Benassi took to the turntables, the cloister was transformed into a pulsating open-air dance floor, with an after party of over 1,000 guests celebrating under the stars well into the night.

    Immersive Art, Heritage, and Vision

    The atmosphere was enhanced by a massive, monumental timeline of the U.S. Polo Assn. brand’s past and present, projected along the centuries-old walls of Santa Maria Novella. From 1890 to 2025, the visual depiction told the story of the sport of polo’s evolution and the brand’s growth into a multi-billion-dollar global fashion powerhouse.

    The event’s creative heart came from two visionary artists. Luca Agnani brought immersive mapping effects to the architecture of the cloister, while Pietro Terzini–known for his poetic commentary on pop culture and brand identity–debuted a custom visual installation that blended U.S. Polo Assn.’s sport heritage with his signature textual style. His clever, minimalist expressions on legacy, fashion, and time left a lasting impression and underscored the evening’s message: heritage can be both honored and reimagined.

    Celebrating the Moment, Building the Future

    A Booth Experience That Stole the Show

    Located at Booth 32 in the Cavaniglia Pavilion, U.S. Polo Assn.’s presence at Pitti Uomo from June 17-20 was nothing short of iconic. The space featured a massive 30-foot video screen showcasing brand history and campaign highlights, a curated product collage wall, an elegant champagne bar, models dressed in the latest collection, a celebrity-worthy step-and-repeat, and striking life-size 3-D “135” numerals commemorating the anniversary. The immersive design created an energetic atmosphere that invited trade visitors, influencers, and media to engage with the brand’s past, present, and future. Surprise guests to the booth included Pietro Terzini, Clara, Roberto Ciufoli, as well as Olympic swimming athlete Luca Dotto, which drew hundreds of media, guests, fans and influencers to ‘meet and greet’ with U.S. Polo Assn.

    To celebrate the anniversary, the booth will host a presentation and media moment on Wednesday, June 18, with J. Michael Prince, CEO of U.S. Polo Assn.     On the evening of June 18, U.S. Polo Assn. will host its invitation-only 135th Anniversary Celebration in the stunning Chiostro Grande at the historic Complesso di Santa Maria Novella. Guests from around the world will gather for this exclusive event to toast to the past, present, and future of a brand born from the sport of polo that dates back to 1890.

    U.S. Polo Assn.’s continued record growth resulted from expanding its existing footprint across all regions around the world. U.S. Polo Assn. delivered steady growth in North America, the brand’s largest market, and continued to gain market share in the other established regions of Western Europe, Middle East and Latin America. In addition, U.S. Polo Assn. is significantly growing in emerging markets for the brand such as Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe.     An Electric Game Watched Live by a Record-Breaking Crowd
    Thousands of fans at NPC witnessed the action-packed final game of the Gauntlet of Polo® tournament series, which included the C.V. Whitney Cup®, the USPA Gold Cup®, and the U.S. Open Polo Championship. In a year that delivered record-breaking crowds week in and week out, the thrilling final was filled with great plays from the world’s best players on both teams, La Dolfina Tamera featuring 10-goal player Adolfo Cambiaso; Diego Cavanagh; Matt Coppola; and Alejandro Poma, and La Dolfina Catamount featuring 10-goal player Poroto Cambiaso; Jesse Bray; Rufino Merlos and Scott Devon. For the second year in a row, the U.S. Open Polo Championship Final presented an epic showdown between two of the world’s top polo players who are also father and son.

    Adolfo, age 50, who has been defeated in the last two U.S. Open Finals, the last one being to his son, Poroto, age 19, reclaimed victory in this game to take home his 10th U.S. Open title. It was just this week that Adolfo turned 50, thus reclaiming the championship trophy as his perfect birthday present. Adolfo is considered the best polo player in history, having also won more than 17 titles in the Argentine Open Polo Championship, and is considered the “Greatest of All Time (GOAT)” beside other sports icons such as Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and Tom Brady.

    La Dolfina Catamount came out strong at the beginning of chukker 1, but La Dolfina Tamera soon took the momentum and kept the game close. The score was tied at 6-6 after the 3rd chukker. After some clutch goals by Poma in chukkers 3,4, and 5 and an impressive long goal from Adolfo, Tamera continued to have the lead. Though Poroto scored an incredible 5 goals overall, and Bray scored in the 6th and final chukker, both of Catamount, to bring it to 11-8, there just wasn’t enough time for a comeback. Tamera clinched their win with a thrilling goal by Coppola to make the final score 12-8. La Dolfina Tamera’s Poma won MVP, scoring a team-high 4 goals, with Adolfo scoring 3 goals.

MVP Lounge, home to the iconic Sunday Polo Brunch. Sports fans also had exclusive on-site shopping opportunities at the flagship USPA Shop location, where limited-edition sport-luxury pieces in The Polo Club Collection and the U.S. Polo Assn. This seasonal launch also features the exciting 135th Anniversary Collection, which celebrates the brand’s namesake and sport inspiration, the USPA.
