  • HashKey Passes HKEX Hearing: From Asia’s Compliance Pioneer to a Global Institutional Gateway for Digital Assets

HashKey Holdings Limited (referred to as HashKey) formally passed the HKEX hearing to become the leading digital asset company to undergo IPO in the Hong Kong capital market. This is a significant milestone for HashKey’s compliance-focused development from day one but also represents a pioneer for Asia’s digital asset industry entry into the mainstream capital markets.

Amid a global trend towards regulatory maturity and rapid institutional adoption for digital assets, the Hong Kong-based HashKey has grown from a regional compliance-focused exchange into a global gateway between traditional finance and the Web3 ecosystem. The company has also become a valuable bridge connecting financial infrastructures across multiple regions.

    I. Building Asia’s Leading Digital Asset Ecosystem with Three Core Pillars
HashKey’s disclosure of its prospectus has three core pillars: transaction facilitation, on-chain services and asset management services. Together, it forms an integrated business ecosystem covering the entire digital asset lifecycle putting the company in a leading position in Asia.

    1. Transaction Facilitation: Asia’s Leading Onshore Digital Asset Platform
According to analytics research firm Frost & Sullivan, HashKey holds a market share exceeding 75% in the local Hong Kong market based on 2024 trading volume. This leading position is a testament to the company’s long-term investment in compliance, stringent governance, and institutional-grade security standards. The cohesiveness is crucial in a highly regulated onshore market.

    2. On-Chain Services: leading among global competitors
The company leads in Asia and ranks in top eight globally for on-chain businesses such as node operations, staking, and infrastructure support. HashKey  participates in the transaction side of the ecosystem and also engage deeply in the entire on-chain ecosystem.

    3. Asset Management: becoming a leading platform in Asia
Leveraging an established trust and risk control system, HashKey’s asset management business maintains steady growth and also creates synergy with its transaction facilitation and on-chain services. It has become a platform with comprehensive capabilities.

II. Compliance Becomes A Decisive Competitive Edge Under Maturing Global Regulatory Frameworks
As regulatory frameworks for digital assets become clearer for governments globally, the “Wild West” era of the industry is long gone. In the current cycle, compliance capability and regulatory adaptation have become the backbone for survival and expansion.

The current trend is for companies to adopt a regulatory-native approach like what HashKey has done to gain market attention and favorability.

The prospectus indicates that HashKey has already obtained 13 licenses and registrations across different jurisdictions and has completed security and internal control certifications under international standards including SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO27001, and ISO27701. The company’s record of no major security incidents, loss of customer funds, and on-chain slashing reflects the maturity of its governance system and risk framework.

As a leading gateway within Asia’s digital asset domain, HashKey has built a strategic position with solid institutional foundation for the growing integration between global capital, on-chain ecosystems, and traditional finance in the coming decade.

III. Linking the East and West: Asia’s Leading Gateway In Digital Assets Industry Is Shaping It’s Global Role
From a long-term perspective, HashKey’s IPO is a starting point rather than the finish line. In recent years, the company has been actively expanding into offshore markets along with the continuous development of its onshore exchange business. This is a trend as the industry enters a phase of institutionalization.

With growing institutional demand, traditional financial institutions need compliant gateways while on-chain ecosystems need mature infrastructure support.  Capital flows will need to establish new channels of connections between East and West.

HashKey’s multi-jurisdictional license portfolio, mature risk management system, and transparent governance structure allow traditional institutions to enter the Web3 ecosystem within a controlled regulatory framework. HashKey’s capability as an institutional gateway is further amplified with the launch of its CaaS (Crypto-as-a-Service) platform, which makes it a vital bridge connecting on-chain service with real-world finance.

As Asia’s most mature international financial center, Hong Kong has a compatibility advantage because its regulatory system is on par with other leading global financial systems. HashKey’s IPO in Hong Kong will allow the company to simultaneously serve as the gateway for Western institutions entering the Asian digital asset markets and Asian capitals aiming for global allocation. As regional regulations increasingly align, the value of HashKey’s function as a gateway for digital assets in Asia is rapidly amplified.

It is a reflection of the digital asset industry advancing into a new stage led by institutions and infrastructure. In this cycle, transformation is encouraged by institutions capable of connecting traditional finance, on-chain ecosystems, and cross-regional markets. Hence, HashKey has positioned itself precisely to assume this role.

  • Internexa Launches PoP at HostDime’s Bogota, Colombia Data Center

HostDime, a global hyper-edge data center company, announced that InterNexa – one of the largest IP networks and fiber operators in Colombia – has deployed a Mega PoP inside HostDime’s Tier IV certified data center in Bogotá, codenamed Nebula.

InterNexa operates a 32,000+ km fiber optic network throughout Colombia, and with its backbone now on-net, Nebula is established as a premier interconnectivity hub. The facility provides fiber carriers, cloud providers, content providers, AI workloads, ISPs, OTTs, peering exchanges, and enterprises with ultra-low latency, high-capacity access into the Colombian market. This positions Nebula as one of the most interconnected data centers in the country. Customers in Nebula can now seamlessly tap into InterNexa’s network, while InterNexa’s clients gain access to Nebula’s next-generation Tier IV infrastructure to expand in Colombia.

This alliance also connects HostDime’s 70,000-square-foot, purpose-built Tier IV hyper-edge data center directly to InterNexa’s ecosystem of 16 facilities. By leveraging InterNexa’s redundant ring topology and major peering points, HostDime clients in Nebula gain an advantage through direct connectivity into InterNexa’s network for accelerated content and workload delivery.

“Having InterNexa on-net is a major milestone for HostDime Colombia and Colombia’s digital infrastructure. When we set out to build Nebula, our vision was to create next-gen digital infrastructure that would foster partnerships like this – building an ecosystem that benefits all stakeholders, from cloud and content providers to AI inferencing workloads and fiber carriers. I encourage everyone to visit Nebula and experience firsthand what a purpose-built, next-generation data center feels and looks like. You will leave inspired.” – Manny Vivar, HostDime Founder and CEO

HostDime’s Nebula Data Center, located in North Bogotá (Tocancipá), is one of the only Uptime Institute Tier IV certified facilities in Colombia, backed by a 100% uptime SLA. It features 6 MW of power capacity, rack densities up to 50 kW, and 10+ fiber carriers already on-net. The facility is sustainably designed, holding EDGE Building environmental certifications. Its carrier-neutral operation, combined with next-gen infrastructure capabilities, offers Nebula occupants an unmatched environment to thrive in the Colombian market.

Beyond the enterprise market, this network expansion also improves the digital experience for Colombian end users. With Nebula as a direct node on InterNexa’s backbone, streaming services, cloud apps, and online platforms can deliver content closer to end users, enabling faster performance, smoother gaming, and more reliable access without international backhauling.

Colombia is rapidly establishing itself as a regional technology hub, with demand for reliable, low-latency infrastructure surging across financial services, government, energy, media, and AI applications. AI workloads specifically require high availability and ultra-fast inferencing at the edge, making Nebula’s Tier IV infrastructure and direct fiber connectivity an advantage for enterprises building next-generation services. By serving as a strategic interconnection point within Bogotá’s digital ecosystem, Nebula empowers enterprises to scale while contributing to the country’s economic and technological growth.

This partnership reinforces HostDime’s vision to design, build, and operate next-generation data centers in emerging and underserved markets, providing global clients with the edge infrastructure needed for growth, and positioning HostDime as a key driver of Colombia’s digital future.

    (ANTARA/HO-Brawijaya University)

UB Lecturer in Chinese Language and Culture, Yang Nadia Miranti, said the university played a leading role in facilitating the visit of Professor Xiang “Hardy” Yong, UNESCO Chair on Creativity and Sustainable Development in Rural Areas and Dean of the Institute for Cultural Industries at Peking University, to explore Malang’s cultural industry potential.

“UB’s academic diplomacy with Peking University was vital,” Miranti said in a statement that ANTARA released here Saturday. She added that Professor Hardy and UB’s Faculty of Humanities visited several sites in Malang in February 2025 to assess local creative assets.

Professor Hardy, accompanied by UB representatives and Malang municipal officials, toured the Malang Creative Center, Kayutangan Heritage Village, and Polowijen Cultural Village. The visits led to discussions that produced an official recommendation letter, a key document supporting Malang’s nomination to UNESCO.

The letter affirmed Malang’s strong commitment to developing a thriving media arts ecosystem. According to Miranti, the recommendation provided international academic validation for UNESCO’s evaluation committee and opened new opportunities for collaboration with other creative cities such as Changsha in China and Gwangju in South Korea.

Malang’s creativity, she added, reflects a rich blend of Indonesian and Chinese cultural elements seen in its cuisine, arts, and architecture. “Malang embodies the spirit of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network—a place where media arts foster cultural resilience, economic vitality, and social cohesion,” Miranti said.

Professor Hardy also proposed establishing a Media Arts Innovation Council and developing a Media Arts Impact Index in partnership with UB to measure creative cities’ contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals.

UB and Peking University would soon launch a UNESCO Chair Workstation, initiate a student mobility program in 2026, and support Malang’s plans to build sister-city and sister-village partnerships with counterparts in China, he was quoted by Miranti as saying.

45th Electronics Fair and electronicAsia attract some 60,000 buyers

    – AI and robotics take centre stage as industry explores global business opportunities through Hong Kong

    – The HKTDC’s two major autumn electronics fairs concluded successfully today, attracting some 60,000 buyers from 142 countries and regions for sourcing and networking

    – Onsite surveys revealed that 44% of respondents have ventured into the exploration or integration of Generative AI technology

    – Respondents expressed an optimistic growth outlook for the electronics sector in several emerging markets over the next two years, including the Middle East (77%), Korea (70%), India (69%) and ASEAN countries (69%).

HONG KONG, Oct 16, 2025 – (ACN Newswire) – The 45th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and the 28th electronicAsia, organised by the HKTDC and MMI Asia Pte Ltd, concluded their physical exhibitions at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) today. The four-day concurrent events attracted some 60,000 industry buyers from 142 countries and regions. The number of buyers from Spain, Japan, Brazil and Australia increased on last year, reflecting the status of the fairs as important sourcing platforms for the industry, helping exhibitors expand their international markets and yielding positive business results.

In last month’s Policy Address, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region proposed promoting artificial intelligence (AI) as a core industry for the city’s development. Aligning with this direction, this year’s Autumn Electronics Fair focused on three major areas: AI and Robotics Technology, Digital Entertainment, and the Silver Economy. The fair featured multiple themed zones and professional forums, allowing industry players to showcase innovations and exchange ideas on technology applications, and leveraging Hong Kong’s role as an international business platform to help enterprises seize emerging global opportunities.

Jenny Koo, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, said: “Amid the recent unstable global trade environment, the HKTDC has been proactively helping companies with business transformation and injecting momentum into new market exploration. As a stage for showcasing the latest electronic products and innovations, the Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia serve as important platforms for exhibitors to connect and explore collaborations. This year’s fairs welcomed leading Chinese Mainland tech companies from various sectors to present the latest AI and robotics technologies. Using Hong Kong as a springboard to ‘go global’, we have been pleased to see both local and mainland enterprises making successful connections with quality international buyers through the two fairs, further reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a bridge to the global market.”

In late October, the HKTDC will continue to create cross-industry business opportunities by hosting the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition)Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo and ECO Expo Asia, Ms Koo added.

Survey reveals 44% of industry insiders are exploring or applying Generative AI

An independent survey agency commissioned by the HKTDC interviewed 1,092 buyers and exhibitors at the Electronics Fair and asked for their views on growth prospects for the industry. 51% of respondents said they expect overall sales to increase in the next 12 to 24 months.

Respondents rated the Middle East (77%), Korea (70%), India (69%) and ASEAN countries (69%) as having very promising or promising growth prospects for products in their target markets in the next two years, while 44% of those surveyed said they have ventured into the exploration or integration of Generative AI technology, with the areas of product design and development (60%), customer service and support (40%) and marketing and advertising (35%) being the most common.

New product launches at Electronics Fair – a starting point for “going global”

This year’s Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia attracted more than 3,200 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions around the world. The HKTDC organised 120 buyer delegations from 61 countries and regions to attend the fairs – including renowned global corporations such as Mondial from Brazil, Reichelt Elektronik GmbH from Germany, and Dewalt Mobile Solutions from the United States – highlighting Hong Kong’s strong appeal as an international convention and exhibition hub.

Staying true to its theme, “World’s Leading Electronics Marketplace”, the fair provided a platform for global exhibitors to showcase their latest electronic products, innovation concepts and applications. These included robotics products from leading mainland tech enterprises such as Deep Robotics and BrainCo from “Hangzhou’s Six Little Dragons” in addition to DIGIT, PaXini and LimX from “Shenzhen’s Eight Great Guardians of Embodied Intelligence”.

Robotics technologies were demonstrated across various scenarios. For example, exhibitor Ascentiz launched its world’s first modular exoskeleton at the fair that has been designed to enhance mobility for the elderly and people with physical impairments, contributing to the silver economy. The fair also introduced a new RoboPark activity zone, hosting over 30 live robot demonstrations and featuring presentations from renowned robotics companies such as Unitree Robotics and Booster Robotics.

Several local start-ups and technology companies have stated that they successfully showcased their innovative achievements, launched new products, and connected with potential investors and overseas buyers at the fair.

SOTA Robotics, launched and demonstrated its humanoid performing robot CURI Gen2 at RoboPark. Jacky Fan, Robotics Engineer at the startup said: “The newly established RoboPark provided a stage to demonstrate our capabilities to the industry. We successfully established direct contact with potential investors from several countries and regions such as the United Kingdom, Pakistan and the Chinese Mainland.”

Well-known enterprises from the Chinese Mainland used the fairs as a platform to develop global business opportunities. Xiangru Nie, Co-founder of PaXini Technology, one of the “Shenzhen’s Eight Great Guardians of Embodied Intelligence” said: “Through the fair we have seen greater possibilities in technological globalisation. We are leveraging Hong Kong’s international network to accelerate the implementation of our technologies in areas such as high-end manufacturing in Europe and the United States, and smart services in Southeast Asia.” He added that through the fair, the company had not only secured procurement intentions with robotics companies from Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore and the Philippines but also attracted significant attention from high-end manufacturing sectors in Europe and the United States, including Germany and the United Kingdom. He said this engagement with dozens of high-quality potential clients had led to the total value of intended orders  expected to exceed tens of millions of renminbi – far ahead of his initial expectations.

Elijah Yu, International Sales Manager of Shanghai Hi-dolphin Robot Technology Co., Ltd, mentioned that the fairs played a crucial role as a springboard for mainland companies to reach overseas customers: “We met a client from Turkey at the fair who placed an

  • CBI and Blockware strengthen their capital ties

CBI and Blockware strengthen their capital ties

Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI; Euronext Growth Paris: FR0014007LW0, ALCBI; OTCQB: CBIPF)) announces that it has been granted an option to purchase up to $10 million in convertible notes issued by Blockware Solutions, offering a  10% discount on the price of Blockware potential future initial public offering (“IPO”). A first tranche of USD 1,000,000 has already been raised and paid in CBI shares, which are only transferable on the OTCQB market up to a limit of 10% of the daily volume. CBI and Blockware aim to grow CBI’s U.S. shareholder base, in which case CBI will exercise a phased share of the call option  and increase its equity stake in Blockware.

Blockware is a recognized player in the blockchain infrastructure and cryptocurrency mining industry.  The company stands out for its ability to operate large-scale installations, provide state-of-the-art hosting  services, and develop innovative technology solutions, making it a natural partner for CBI.

CBI’s mining activities recorded a return on investment of more than 40% in August 2025 thanks to this  partnership.

CBI has the option to acquire up to $10 million of convertible notes issued by Blockware. The  convertible notes issued by Blockware have a maturity of two years and bear an interest rate of 5%  per annum. They offer a 10% discount on the price of a potential future IPO and, if this IPO does not take  place before maturity, the convertible notes are redeemed in cash. They also benefit from a liquidation  preference in the event of an asset distribution or bankruptcy.

This transaction paves the way for a strategic partnership to strengthen CBI’s presence in the U.S. market and  gradually increase its stake in Blockware.

A first tranche of USD 1,000,000 has already been raised by CBI and paid for in shares, which can only be  resold on the OTCQB market up to a limit of 10% of the trading volume.

CBI and Blockware aim to develop the size and visibility of CBI’s American shareholding, based in  particular on the listing of the share on the OTCQB market, which is a privileged gateway for institutional and  individual investors in the United States. The gradual increase in liquidity and trading volume in this market  will broaden the investor base and strengthen CBI’s reputation. CBI plans to gradually exercise its option to  purchase convertible notes, within the limit of 10% of the trading volume of the OTCQB market.

This mechanism is part of CBI’s ACE (Acquire, Create, Earn) strategy, strengthening its ability to seize  international growth opportunities and helping to position CBI as a leading player in the blockchain ecosystem, while maximizing its exposure to the US market.

For the period ending September 30, 2025, CBI has invoiced consulting fees to Blockware solutions for an  amount of $1 million, paid through the remittance by Blockware of a convertible note for that amount.

    Disclaimers

The completion of CBI’s projects, as well as their operating budget and financing plan, remain fundamentally subject to  major uncertainties, and failure to achieve the underlying assumptions may have a material and adverse impact on the  value of CBI’s assets and liabilities.

In addition, investing in crypto-assets involves risks related in particular to their intrinsic volatility that could have an impact  on CBI’s financial performance. CBI considers it useful to remember that the past performance of crypto-assets is not a guarantee of future performance.

A detailed description of the risks associated with an investment in CBI securities can be found in the Company’s financial  reports available on CBI’s website.
