Cebu City: Suba Indigents Receive Aid from Masonic Charity Event; Councilor Gealon Advocates Resilience

More than 150 indigents from Barangay Suba received 5-kilo packed ivory rice and canned goods in a Masonic Charity Event of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the Philippines through Deputy District Grand Master Hudson Ong, along with the Brethren of Masonic District Region 7.

Suba Barangay Captain Jojo Sable was there to grace the occasion, together with his son, Barangay Captain – Elect Jecmer, who delivered an inspirational message to his constituents.

Beneficiaries were so happy to receive the blessings and thank everyone, including Councilor Rey Gealon whose office facilitated the event as well as the feeding program that followed for 300 more residents.

Councilor Gealon, in his address to the beneficiaries, urged them to be resilient to the times, work doubly hard for the family, and most importantly, never forget to pray.

He called upon well-meaning individuals and companies to share their blessings especially to the least of our brethren in the communities.
